We are proud to announce our first project for MSFS, the 757, which first took flight forty years ago today . Over the last several months, our team has been hard at work but we still have a long way to go. Below are just a few teaser screen shots. Please note that these are WIP screen shots and are subject to change.

To add a bit more detail on the project, one of the first questions that will come up is regarding the systems complexity. This will be a mid-level complexity aircraft which will be several layers more complex than the default airliners ( no CTRL-E to start engines here). We are fortunate to have a lead programmer with over 20 years of experience working on this project As time passes, we will provide more information on exact systems complexity. Our goal is to make this an immersive experience. Systems complexity is just one part of that goal.

For the flight model, we have a dedicated airline pilot who is putting in a lot of time and effort to making sure the flight model is as real as possible. We have lots of real world data to help us along the way.

The model is being developed by two individuals with decades of combined experience. We have sifted through hundreds of pictures and lots of documents to make the 3D visuals as accurate as possible. We don’t have the luxury of the 3D scanner ( maybe for a future project ). What you see is just pure talent in 3D modelling designed from scratch.

Please visit the Just Flight webpage for more information and to post any comments or questions. We will post monthly updates from now until release which is targeted for sometime in 2023.
